Absolute structures of new hydroxystilbenoids, vitisin C and viniferal, from Vitis vinifera 'Kyohou'
Ito, Junko,Niwa, Masatake
, p. 9991 - 9998 (1996)
Two new hydroxystilbenoids named visitin C and viniferal were isolated from Vitis vinifera 'Kyohou' and the structures were characterized on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence. Furthermore, the absolute configurations of (-)-vitisin B and (-)-cis-vitisin B as well as (+)-vitisin C and (-)-viniferal were determined by the synthetic evidence from (+)l-ε-viniferin.
Novel Oligostilbenes from Vitis coignetiae
Oshima, Yoshiteru,Kamijou, Akio,Ohizumi, Yasushi,Niwa, Masatake,Ito, Junko,et al.
, p. 11979 - 11986 (1995)
Phytochemical investigation on oligostilbenes in a methanol extract of Vitis coignetiae (Japanese name: yama-budou) resulted in the isolation of a novel stilbene dimer, ε-viniferin diol, and two novel stilbene tetramers, vitisin B and its stereoisomer cis-vitisin B.The structures of the oligostilbenes were determined by spectroscopic evidence and chemical reactions.
Regioselective Oxidative Coupling of 4-Hydroxystilbenes: Synthesis of Resveratrol and ε-Viniferin (E)-Dehydrodimers
Sako, Magoichi,Hosokawa, Hiroyuki,Ito, Tetsuro,Iinuma, Munekazu
, p. 2598 - 2600 (2004)
Treatment of 5-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)vinyl]benzene-1,3-diol (resveratrol) with an equimolar amount of silver(I) acetate in dry MeOH at 50 °C for 1 h followed by chromatographic purification with a short silica gel column allowed the isolation of its (E)-deh
Biogenetic reactions on stilbenetetramers from Vitaceaeous plants
Takaya, Yoshiaki,Yan, Ke-Xu,Terashima, Kenji,He, Yue-Hua,Niwa, Masatake
, p. 9265 - 9271 (2002)
The absolute configurations of stilbenetetramers, (+)-hopeaphenol, (-)-isohopeaphenol, (+)-vitisin A and (+)-vitisin D, from Vitaceaeous plants were respectively determined on the basis of chemical evidence.
