Tetramethyl furan-2,3,4,5-tetracarboxylate (TMF-4TC) is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C10H10O8. It is a derivative of furan, a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound, with four carboxyl groups (-COOH) attached to the carbon atoms at positions 2, 3, 4, and 5. The tetrahedral structure of TMF-4TC is characterized by its symmetrical arrangement of the carboxyl groups around the central furan ring. tetramethyl furan-2,3,4,5-tetracarboxylate is known for its potential applications in various fields, such as in the synthesis of polymers and as a precursor in the production of certain pharmaceuticals. Its chemical properties, including its reactivity and stability, make it a valuable intermediate in organic synthesis.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1710-10-7 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,7,1 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1710-10:
(6*1)+(5*7)+(4*1)+(3*0)+(2*1)+(1*0)=47
47 % 10 = 7
So 1710-10-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

COPPER(II) IN ORGANIC SYNTHESIS. III. REACTION OF COPPER(II) COMPLEXES OF o-QUINONE MONOPHENYLHYDRAZONES WITH DIMETHYL ACETYLENEDICARBOXYLATE

Bisiacchi, Piero,Coda, Andreina Corsico,Desimoni, Giovanni,Righetti, Pier Paolo,Tacconi, Gianfranco

, p. 119 - 124 (2007/10/02)

Bis-copper(II) complexes of o-quinone monophenylhydrazones (2a-e) react with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate.Probably through a Michael reaction followed by intramolecular cyclization, o-benzoquinone derivatives 2a,b give indazoles 5a,b, also synthesized by a new route from isatines.Naphtho- and phenanthroquinone derivatives 2c-e are oxidized by copper(II) ions to ketocarbenes which undergo 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition to benzofuran derivatives 11c-e.
