Uses
Different sources of media describe the Uses of 17365-01-4 differently. You can refer to the following data:
1. Derivative of thyroxine. Antilipemic
2. Derivative of thyroxine. Antilipemic.
Manufacturing Process
7.91 g of α-methyl thyroxine are suspended in 150 cc of ethanol. While
heating, the solution is saturated with dry hydrogen chloride. Thereafter, the
solvent is distilled off at reduced pressure. The residue is dissolved in a
mixture of ethanol and water (1:1). Adding a 5% solution of sodium hydrogen
carbonate in water, the ethyl ester of α-methyl thyroxine precipitates; melting
point: 156°C to 157°C after recrystallization from ethanol. The yield is 6.05 g,
i.e., 74% of the theoretical yield.
Therapeutic Function
Antihyperlipoproteinemic
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 17365-01-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,7,3,6 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 17365-01:
(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*3)+(4*6)+(3*5)+(2*0)+(1*1)=104
104 % 10 = 4
So 17365-01-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
