Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1750-34-1 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,7,5 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1750-34:
(6*1)+(5*7)+(4*5)+(3*0)+(2*3)+(1*4)=71
71 % 10 = 1
So 1750-34-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

New Hopane Triterpenoids from Lichens in the Family Physiaceae
Wilkins, Alistair L.,Elix, John A.,Gaul, Kim L.,Moberg, Roland
, p. 1415 - 1422 (2007/10/02)
Three new hopane triterpenes have been isolated from lichens of the family Physiaceae. Two of the triterpenes, 22-hydroxyhopan-6-one (2) and 6α-acetoxyhopan-22-ol (1b), have been characterized previously but their natural occurrence is reported for the first time, while a new triterpene acid , was isolated and characterized as the corresponding methyl ester.One- and two-dimensional 1H-1H and 13C-1H correlated n.m.r. studies have revealed methyl aipolate to be methyl 6α-acetoxy-22-hydroxyhopan-25-oate (1d).
