Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1760-19-6 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,7,6 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1760-19:
(6*1)+(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*0)+(2*1)+(1*9)=76
76 % 10 = 6
So 1760-19-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

On the metabolism of eprazinone

Toffel-Nadolny,Gielsdorf

, p. 719 - 722 (2007/10/02)

After oral application of 3-[4-(β-ethoxyphenethyl)-1-piperazinyl]-2-methylpropiophenone dihydrochloride (eprazinone, Eftapan) together with the unchanged drug, five degradation products were detected and subsequently identified by gas liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry in human urine. With respect to the presented results, eprazinone is degraded by various routes in man: hydrolysis which leads to metabolites M1 and M4, and cleavage of α-binding to the nitrogen atom and successive dealkylation reactions resulting in M2, M3 and M5, respectively.
