Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 17615-97-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,7,6,1 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 17615-97:
(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*1)+(3*5)+(2*9)+(1*7)=123
123 % 10 = 3
So 17615-97-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Effect of Pressure on Reversed Micellar Systems. Rates of the Keto-Enol Transformation of Pentane-2,4-dione

Tamura, Katsuhiro,Suminaka, Minoru

, p. 2287 - 2292 (1985)

The rates of keto-enol tautomerism of pentane-2,4-dione (acetylacetone) have been measured spectrophotometrically in reversed micellar systems of dodecylammonium propionate (DAP) and dodecylammonium butyrate (DAB) at pressures up to 98.1 MPa.The rates were enhanced by pressure and surfactants, especially at concentrations above the 'operational' critical micelle concentration. The activation volumes of the reaction (ΔV++) in various systems have been determined and used to estimate the polarity of the microscopic reaction environment. On the basis of the kinetic and thermodynamic data obtained, the formation of reversed micelles as a reaction field is discussed.

The Reactivity of p-Nitrophenyl Esters with Surfactants in Nonaqueous Solvents. III. The Effect of Altering the Head-Groups of Alkylammonium Carboxylates Dissolved in Benzene

O'Connor, Charmian J.,Ramage, Robyn E.

, p. 779 - 784 (2007/10/02)

The rate of decomposition of p-nitrophenyl acetate, pnpa, has been measured in benzene solutions of a series of alkylammonium propionates, CH3(CH2)nNH3+ -O2CCH2CH3 (where n = 3,5,7,9 or 11), and a series of dodecylammonium carboxylat
