177171-16-3 Usage
Uses
3-(Trimethylsilyl)phenylboronic acid can be used:To prepare a 2-phenylpyridine ligand, which is used in the synthesis of Ir(III) complex applicable in the OLEDs.As an intermediate in the preparation of biphenyl derived amino acids. As a starting material for the synthesis of triphenylene-based electron transport materials.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 177171-16-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,7,7,1,7 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 177171-16:
(8*1)+(7*7)+(6*7)+(5*1)+(4*7)+(3*1)+(2*1)+(1*6)=143
143 % 10 = 3
So 177171-16-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
