Reactive Red 1 is a colorful red-blue light dye with a sauce red powder form. It exhibits unique color-changing properties when exposed to different acids, turning purple in strong sulfuric acid and red in nitric acid. The dye solution itself is red, and upon the addition of sodium hydroxide, it transforms into an orange-red hue. Further addition of insurance powder and warming results in a light yellow color, which remains unchanged even with the addition of sodium boric acid.
