A series of new 13-aza taxanes, having a nitrogen atom at position 13 and consequently leading to side chain attachments other than ester, are presented. In particular the synthesis of acyloximes, imides and enamides is reported. None of these novel taxanes show activity in the tubulin polymerization assay or in the in vitro cytotoxicity assay.
