Biological Activity
A subtype-selective ligand for the α 1B -adrenoceptor. The pK i values for binding to rat fibroblast cell membranes expressing α 1B (hamster), α 1A (bovine) and α 1D (rat) are 7.1, 5.59, and 5.68 respectively. Appears to be non-selective between α 1 subtypes and α 2 receptors in smooth muscle preparations.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 179388-65-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,7,9,3,8 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 179388-65:
(8*1)+(7*7)+(6*9)+(5*3)+(4*8)+(3*8)+(2*6)+(1*5)=199
199 % 10 = 9
So 179388-65-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
