General Description
(5,5-dimethyl-morpholin-2-yl)-acetic acid, also known as DMMG, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C9H17NO3. It is a derivative of the natural amino acid glycine and contains a morpholine ring, which makes it useful as a building block for various pharmaceutical compounds. DMMG has been studied for its potential use in the treatment of various medical conditions, including diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. It is also known for its ability to enhance the solubility of poorly water-soluble drugs, making it a valuable tool in drug formulation. DMMG is a versatile compound with potential applications in the pharmaceutical industry and medical research.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 180863-28-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,8,0,8,6 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 180863-28:
(8*1)+(7*8)+(6*0)+(5*8)+(4*6)+(3*3)+(2*2)+(1*8)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 180863-28-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The synthesis and GABA(B) antagonist activity of a series of substituted morpholine-2-acetic acid derivatives is described. Resolution of the lead compound from the series produces one active and one inactive enantiomer. X- ray analysis of a halogenated derivative (25) of the active enantiomer Sch 50911 (23) shows that it possesses the 2S configuration.
