Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 181885-39-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,8,1,8,8 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 181885-39:
(8*1)+(7*8)+(6*1)+(5*8)+(4*8)+(3*5)+(2*3)+(1*9)=172
172 % 10 = 2
So 181885-39-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Pentabenzylcyclopentadienides of lithium

Dohmeier, Carsten,Baum, Elke,Ecker, Achim,K?ppe, Ralf,Schn?ckel, Hansgeorg

, p. 4702 - 4706 (1996)

(Pentabenzylcyclopentadienyl)lithium (Li(η5-C5Bz5)) has been prepared by lithiation of pentabenzylcyclopentadiene with tert-butyllithium in toluene or benzene. This compound, which is the nonisolated starting material for most of the known pentabenzylcyclopentadienides, has been characterized by NMR and mass spectroscopy. The molecular structure of the benzene adduct of dimeric Li(η5-C5Bz5) has been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. A triple-decker-like structure, (η5-C5Bz5)Li(η5-C 5Bz5)Li(η2-C6H6), results. The reaction of Li(η5-C5Bz5) with Al(η5-C5Me5) leads to Al(η5-C5Bz5) and Li(η5-C5Me5), with [Li(η5-C5Bz5)2][Al(η 5-C5Me5)2] as a side product. The molecular structure of the last-named compound consists of the separated sandwich ions [Li(η5-C5Bz5]2] and [Al(η5-C5Me5)2]+.

Cyclopentadienylderivate von Aluminium(I)

Sitzmann, Helmut,Lappert, Michael F.,Dohmeier, Carsten,Ueffing, Christoph,Schnoeckel, Hansgeorg

, p. 203 - 208 (2007/10/03)

27Al-NMR spectroscopy to investigate and characterize new cyclopentadienylaluminum(I) derivatives formed in the reaction of AlX (X=Cl, Br, Cp* (=C5Me5)) with MRn (n=1: M=alkaline metal; n=2: M=Mg; R=cyclopentadienyl derivative (CpD), N(SiMe3)2): formation of new monomeric and tetrameric Al(I) species and X-ray structure analysis of a new aluminum(I) compound with an Al4-tetrahedron.

Aluniinum(i) and gallium(i) compounds: Syntheses, structures, and reactions

Dohmeier, Garsten,Loos, Dagmar,Schnoeckel, Hansgeorg,Loos

, p. 129 - 149 (2008/10/09)

By the end of the last century there were already the first indications of the possible existence of Al1 halides. However, it was only through the pioneering works of W. Klemm, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday on January 6, 1996, that detailed spectroscopic investigations became possible. Since the end of the 1970s the reactivity of A1X and GaX species in solid noble gases has been confirmed by numerous examples. In recent years formally monovalent Al and Ga species have been successfully synthesized on a preparative scale. In addition to the first halides, organometallic compounds with metal-metal bonds have been isolated and investigated with regard to their chemical properties. The fundamental importance of such species has been documented in this journal among others in the form of two highlight articles in which experimental and theoretical aspects have been examined with examples, and parallels and differences with respect to boron chemistry have been illustrated. This review is intended to give an account of the chronological development of this research area over the last few years, but an attempt is also made to categorize the experimental results achieved not only with respect to structure, thermodynamics, and reactivity, but also with the aid of quantum chemical calculations and by comparative considerations.
