Method for synthesizing 5-bromo-2-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine
-
Paragraph 0036-0041, (2019/02/04)
The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 5-bromo-2-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine. The method comprises the steps of producing 2-(5-nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyrid-2-yl)dimethyl malonate from diethyl malonate and 2-chloro-3-trifluoromethyl-5-nitropyridine under alkaline conditions, then, producing 2-methyl-5-nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine under acidic conditions, carrying out reduction so as to obtain 6-methyl-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridyl-3-amine, and carrying out diazotation, thereby obtaining the 5-bromo-2-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine. The scheme for synthesizing the 5-bromo-2-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is proposed for the first time, the raw materials are readily available, the reaction conditions are mild, the selectivity is high, the aftertreatment has verygood operability, the yield is relatively high, enlarged production is easy, and the method is environmentally friendly.
