Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 182811-38-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,8,2,8,1 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 182811-38:
(8*1)+(7*8)+(6*2)+(5*8)+(4*1)+(3*1)+(2*3)+(1*8)=137
137 % 10 = 7
So 182811-38-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

On some reactions of undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl-substituted silanes

Englich, Ulrich,Graschy, Susanne,Hengge, Edwin,Hermann, Uwe,Marschner, Christoph,Mechtler, Christian,Pinter, Erich,Ruhlandt-Senge, Karin,Uhlig, Frank

, p. 202 - 210 (2007/10/03)

A number of undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl-substituted silanes have been prepared employing a salt elimination reaction between undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl potassium and several silyl halides or triflates. This method provides access to compounds with one or two undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl units attached to one silicon atom. Several attempts to introduce a third ring failed, resulting in formation of bis(undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl). An alternative approach to the substance class using silyl anions and undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl bromide was also developed. The molecular structure of bis(undecamethylcyclohexasilanyl)methylsilane was determined by X-ray crystallography.

Si-H-containing cyclosilanes and their behaviour in the dehydrogenative polymerization reaction

Hengge, Edwin,Gspaltl, Peter,Pinter, Erich

, p. 145 - 155 (2007/10/03)

To study the behaviour of some cyclosilanes containing Si-H bonds in dehydrogenative polymerization, cyclosilanes with Si-H bonds directly on the ring and cyclosilanes with Si-H bonds in silyl-and disilanyl side chains were synthesized and characterized by the usual spectroscopic and analytical methods. The ease of the polymerization is affected by steric hindrance and oligomers can be formed along with other side products. Only 1,4-bis(silyl)decamethylcyclohexasilane gave a polymer. Cp2HfCl(Si6Me11) was prepared for use as a catalyst.
