183323-26-4 Usage
Description
Arachidonoyl ethanolamide phosphate (AEA-P) is a water-soluble prodrug version of the endogenous cannabinoid, AEA. It acts as an agonist on the same receptors (CB1 and CB2) as Δ9-THC and has been tested for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in the treatment of C6 glioma cells in vivo. AEA-P demonstrates similar potency to AEA but is about 5-fold less potent as an agonist when inhibiting AEA binding to isolated rat brain CB1 receptors.
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
AEA-P is used as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of C6 glioma cells in vivo, as it exhibits similar potency to AEA in this context.
Used in Research and Development:
AEA-P serves as a valuable compound for studying the effects of endocannabinoids on CB1 and CB2 receptors, as well as their potential interactions with lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) receptors, which have not been tested yet.
Used in Drug Delivery Systems:
As a water-soluble prodrug, AEA-P can be utilized in the development of novel drug delivery systems to improve the bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes of endocannabinoid-based treatments.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 183323-26-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,8,3,3,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 183323-26:
(8*1)+(7*8)+(6*3)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*2)+(1*6)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 183323-26-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
