PRODUCTION METHOD FOR BICYCLIC AMINE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for obtaining bicyclic amine compounds with high reaction yield. SOLUTION: The method includes subjecting a hydroxyl group-containing cyclic amine compound of a formula (1) to intramolecular dehydration in a gas phase in the presence of a solid catalyst containing alkaline earth metal phosphate and alkali metal salt [in the formula (1), R1 to R8 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1 to 4 alkyl group, a hydroxy group, a hydroxymethyl group, or a C1 to 4 alkoxy group; X represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; Y represents an alkyl group, a hydroxy group, a C1 to 4 hydroxyalkyl group, or a C1 to 4 aminoalkyl group].
