Self-Assembly and Catalytic Reactivity of BINOL-Bridged Bis(phenanthroline) Metallocages
Cheng, Kai-Yu,Wang, Shi-Cheng,Chen, Yu-Sheng,Chan, Yi-Tsu
, p. 3559 - 3567 (2018)
Upon treatment with ZnII ions, a series of BINOL-bridged bis(phenanthroline) ligands was self-assembled into [M2L3] metallocages, which were carefully characterized by NMR spectroscopy and ESI-MS spectrometry. Among them,
Molecular design, syntheses, and physical properties of nonpolymeric amorphous dyes for electron transport
Naito, Katsuyuki,Sakurai, Masatoshi,Egusa, Syun
, p. 2350 - 2357 (1997)
Relationships between electrical properties and molecular structures for various nonpolymeric amorphous dyes were investigated. Absorption maximum wavelengths (λobs) for amorphous films were found to be nearly equal to those for solution sample

, p. 410 - 416 (2007/10/03)
The crystal structures of a charge-transfer complex of triphenylene with 1,3,5-tris(2,2-dicyanovinyl)benzene (1), a complex of 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexamethoxytriphenylene with 2,5-dichlorotetracyanoquinodimethane (2) and also 2,5-dichlorotetracyanoquinodimethan
Symmetrical tris(4,6-diamino-5-methylene-2-pyrimidones): New building blocks for self-assembly of hollow spherical supramolecules locked by hydrogen bonds
Alexander, Daniel,Holy, Petr,Fiedler, Pavel,Havlas, Zdenek,Zavada, Jiri
, p. 1464 - 1472 (2007/10/03)
Concise synthesis of the tris(pyrimidones) 1a,b is described. Molecular modeling study demonstrated that both the prepared models 1a,b are capable of self-assembling under formation of spherical dimers locked by 18 hydrogen bonds. Extreme insolubility in all common solvents precluded investigation of the self-assembly in solution. Circumstantial evidence in favor of the self-assembly has been provided in the solid and gas phase.
