Asymmetric synthesis of novel structural mimics of sulphidoleukotrienes

An asymmetric synthetic route toward a new class of structural mimics of the sulphidoleukotrienes has been developed. The key steps in the overall synthetic sequence include Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation followed by stereo- and regioselective opening o
