By the reaction of 4-carboxy-1,2,3-triazoles and 4-carboxy-1,2,3-triazole-1-oxide with diphenyl-phosphoryl azide in alcohol in the presence of triethylamine a series of the corresponding triazoleurethanes is obtained. In the presence of water, along with urethanes, symmetrically substituted triazolylureas are formed. By the reaction of sodium azide with 4-chloroformyl-1,2,3-triazole-1-oxides, as well as by nitrosation of hydrazides of acids 4-azidocarbonyl-1,2,3-triazole-1-oxides are obtained.
