General Description

N-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-2-naphthylamine is a chemical compound with the formula C26H25N. It is a derivative of naphthylamine, which is used in the production of dyes, antioxidants, and other organic compounds. N-(4-tert-Butylphenyl)-2-naphthylamine is commonly used as an antioxidant in rubber and other industrial materials, as it helps to prevent degradation caused by exposure to heat and oxygen. However, it is also considered a potential carcinogen and has been classified as possibly carcinogenic to humans by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.
