The present invention relates to indole derivatives represented by formula (I): wherein R1represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, hydroxy, lower alkoxy, halogen, -O-(CH2)n-OR5, or R2represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, or halogen, R3represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, or and R4represents hydroxy, lower alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy, or -NR10R11, with the proviso that when R3is hydrogen or lower alkyl, R4is -NR10R11, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
