The Katsuki-Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation reaction of meso syn-2,3-bis-endo- and exo-allyl alcohols on a bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane framework took place regio- and stereo-selectively in a unilateral way to give the corresponding mono-epoxidation products as the major product.
