Usage

General Description

The chemical 2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)-N-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]butanamide is a synthetic compound with the molecular formula C16H20F3NO. It is also known by its trade name, U-47700, and is a powerful opioid analgesic drug. U-47700 has been illicitly synthesized and sold as a designer drug and has been associated with numerous overdose deaths. It acts as a selective μ-opioid receptor agonist, binding to and activating the μ-opioid receptor in the brain, leading to pain relief and euphoria. However, its high potency and opioid receptor selectivity can also make it extremely dangerous and potentially lethal, and it has been banned in some countries.
