A solid-phase synthesis of functionalized 6-, 7- and 8-membered azacycles via olefin metathesis
Pernerstorfer, Josef,Schuster, Matthias,Blechert, Siegfried
, p. 138 - 144 (1999)
A modular solid-phase synthesis of functionalized azacycles is described. The approach is based on a ring-closing metathesis to form heterocycles of different ring sizes. Furthermore, the epoxidation of the primarily formed cyclic double bond has been inv
Olefin cross-metathesis with monosubstituted olefins
Bruemmer, Oliver,Rueckert, Anke,Blechert, Siegfried
, p. 441 - 446 (2007/10/03)
The applicability of olefin cross-metathesis for the synthesis of different unsymmetrically substituted functionalized olefins is described. The coupling of different functionalized olefins in the presence of Grubbs ruthenium catalyst of Schrock's molybdenum catalyst afforded the crossed products in good yields and with very high selectivities. Derivatives of jasmonic acid and functionalized allylsilanes were prepared by this catalytic method for carbon-carbon double bond formation.
