19205-19-7 Usage
Uses
Used in Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs):
N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone is used as a green dopant in OLEDs for its ability to achieve highly stable and longer-lifetime devices. The incorporation of DMQA into a double host system has resulted in OLEDs with exceptional performance metrics, including a luminance of greater than 88,000 cd/m2, an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 5.4%, and a current efficiency of 21.1 cd/A.
Used in Green Light Photodetectors:
In the field of optoelectronics, N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone also serves as a component in green light photodetectors, which are essential for various practical applications. These include photo sensors and chemical sensors, where the material's properties contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of these devices in detecting and responding to green light.
Classification
Green dopant materials, OLEDs, Photodetectors, Organic electronics.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 19205-19-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,9,2,0 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 19205-19:
(7*1)+(6*9)+(5*2)+(4*0)+(3*5)+(2*1)+(1*9)=97
97 % 10 = 7
So 19205-19-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The methylation of linear trans-quinacridone with methyl iodide, dimethyl sulfate, and methyl benzenesulfonate was realized under the conditions of phase-transfer catalysis in the sodium hydroxide-aromatic hydrocarbon system in the presence of quaternary ammonium salts.N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone was obtained as the only product with a yield of 90-94percent.Three polymorphous modifications (the α, β, and γ forms) were isolated and identified, and their mutual transformations were studied.By methylation in the two-phase system it is possible to obtain N,N'-dimethylquinacridone in the β modification in the presence of catalytic amounts and in the γ modification in the presence of stoichiometric amounts of the alkyltrimethylammonium chloride.
