Vanadium tetrakis(dimethylamide) is a chemical compound with the formula V(NMe2)4. It is an inorganic compound with a vanadium atom bonded to four dimethylamide ligands. Vanadium tetrakis(dimethylamide) is commonly used as a precursor for the synthesis of vanadium nitride and vanadium oxide thin films, which have applications in electronic and optical devices. Vanadium tetrakis(dimethylamide) is also used as a catalyst in various organic reactions and in the production of vanadium-containing materials.
