Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 20196-46-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,0,1,9 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 20196-46:
(7*2)+(6*0)+(5*1)+(4*9)+(3*6)+(2*4)+(1*6)=87
87 % 10 = 7
So 20196-46-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The decomposition mechanism for TDO in aqueous solution within 25–95?°C temperature range

Shao, Jianzhong,Liu, Xiaoyun,Makarov, Sergei V.,Pei, Kemei

, (2019/07/17)

In this paper, the decomposition mechanism of Thiourea dioxide (TDO) aqueous solution in 25–95 °C temperature range were studied in detail by electrode potential method, time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS), Raman spectroscopy and quantum chemistry calculations. Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) were used to reveal the effect of temperature on the reduction performance of TDO. TOF-MS and Raman spectroscopy were used to determine the chemical constituents of TDO solution at different temperatures. Quantum chemistry calculations were used to assign Raman spectra. This work provides solid theoretical and experimental evidences for the decomposition mechanism of TDO in moisture-hot condition.
