(2Z)-3-(ethylsulfonyl)-1,2-diphenylprop-2-en-1-one, also known as efonidipine, is a calcium channel blocker used for the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. Efonidipine is a dihydropyridine derivative, and its chemical structure includes a sulfonyl group and a phenylprop-2-en-1-one moiety.
