20370-94-9 Usage
Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
(16beta,17alpha,18beta,20alpha)-11,17-dimethoxy-16-(methoxycarbonyl)-18-[(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl)oxy]-3,4-didehydroyohimban-4-ium is used as a potential pharmacological agent for various applications due to its structural relation to yohimbine, which has been studied for its effects on erectile dysfunction and as a stimulant. The specific uses of (16beta,17alpha,18beta,20alpha)-11,17-dimethoxy-16-(methoxycarbonyl)-18-[(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl)oxy]-3,4-didehydroyohimban-4-ium would be determined through additional research and clinical trials.
Note: Since the provided materials do not specify any particular uses for the compound, the above use is a hypothetical application based on the compound's relation to yohimbine. Further research would be necessary to confirm any actual uses in the pharmaceutical industry or other fields.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 20370-94-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,0,3,7 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 20370-94:
(7*2)+(6*0)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*0)+(2*9)+(1*4)=79
79 % 10 = 9
So 20370-94-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Kinetics of the Oxidation of Reserpine with Peroxodisulphate
Carmona-Guzman, M. Carmen,Balon, Manuel,Gonzalez-Arjona, Domingo,Maraver, Joaquin,Sanchez, Miguel
, p. 409 - 412 (2007/10/02)
The kinetics of the reaction between reserpine and potassium peroxodisulphate in acid media have been investigated. The results show two first-order (or pseudo-first-order) steps occuring in series. At the first step, 3-dehydroreserpine, a yellowish green fluorescence product, is obtained, which is afterwards oxidized to 3,5-tetradehydroreserpine, a product with blue fluorescence. These results have been compared with those obtained for other Rauwolfia alkaloids and oxidizing agents.
