General Description

2-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-2H-isoquinolin-1-one, also known as berberine, is a natural alkaloid found in various plants, including goldenseal and Chinese goldthread. 2-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-2H-isoquinolin-1-one has a yellow color and is often used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidative properties.
