Reaction of 1,4-dilithio-1,4-dihydronaphthalenes with dialkyl(diaryl)chloroarsines yielded 1,4-bis-[dialkyl(diaryl)arsino]-1,4-dihydronaphthalenes. These products are readily alkylated with methyl iodide to give corresponding bisarsonium iodides.
