Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 20580-47-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,0,5,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 20580-47:
(7*2)+(6*0)+(5*5)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*4)+(1*7)=86
86 % 10 = 6
So 20580-47-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Ultraviolet light stabilizers are chemically bound to anhydride containing polymers or copolymers. Polymeric stabilizers are prepared by the reaction of primary amino or hydrazido-substituted UV absorbers with some or all of the anhydride groups of the polymer or copolymer to form pendant stabilizer substituted imide or amic acid groups. The polymer bound stabilizers are not lost from the polymer system by volatilization, migration, or extraction, even at high temperature. The polymer stabilizers of this invention may be used as they are or as concentrates to stabilize other polymer systems.
