Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 206756-04-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,0,6,7,5 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 206756-04:
(8*2)+(7*0)+(6*6)+(5*7)+(4*5)+(3*6)+(2*0)+(1*4)=129
129 % 10 = 9
So 206756-04-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Oleanane glycosides from Eclipta alba
Yahara,Ding,Nohara
, p. 1336 - 1338 (2007/10/02)
From the whole parts of Eclipta alba HASSK., six new oleanane triterpene glycosides, named eclalbasaponins I-VI (1-6), were isolated. The structures of 1-6 were characterized as echinocystic acid glycosides, and of those, 5 and 6 were revealed to be sulfated saponins on the basis of chemical and spectral data.
THE STRUCTURE OF PROSAPOGENIN OBTAINED FROM THE SAPONIN OF GLEDITSIA JAPONICA
Konoshima, Takao,Fukushima, Hiroyuki,Inui,Hideo,Sato, Keiko,Sawada, Tokunosuke
, p. 139 - 142 (2007/10/02)
Key Word Index - Gleditsia japonica; Leguminosae; saponins; bisdesmoside; echinocystic acid derivatives; Gleditsia saponin C. Prosapogenin was obtained by alkaline hydrolysis of Gleditsia saponin GS-C (echinocystic acid 3,28-O-bisdesmoside), a new triterpenoid saponin isolated from Gleditsia japonica.Prosapogenin was shown on the basis of chemical and physicochemical data to be echinocystic acid 3-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-6)-β-D-glucopyranoside.
