Substance-initiated radical polymerization of a polyfunctional vinyl ester in the bulk and in solution was studied. The polymerization rate was determined in relation to the monomer and initiator concentrations. The effect of oxygen on bulk polymerization was examined. A reaction mechanism is proposed.
