The complexes of 2,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid with yttrium and light lanthanides of the general formula: Ln(C10H11O5)3 .3H2O where Ln = La-Gd and Ln(C10H2O5)3.H2O where Ln = Y have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, 1R spectra, thermogravimetric studies and X-ray diffraction measurements.
