Synthesis of ThienopyrimidoTriazoles and Pyrazolyl ThienoDipyrimidines

Treatment of 2-substituted thienopyrimidines 1a-c with hydrazine hydrate led to the formation of 2- hydrazino derivatives 2a-c as a result of extrusion of the SCH2COR group.Thienopyrimidotriazoles and pyrazolylthienopyrimidines 3-6 were obtained from the reaction of the hydrazino compounds 2a-c with triethyl orthoformate, carbon disulfide and acetylacetone respectively.Alkaline hydrolysis of 6a gave the acid derivative 7.This was treated with acetic anhydride to afford the oxazinone 8, which in turn reacted with ammonium acetate in acetic acid to givethienodipyrimidine 9.Other thienodipyrimidines 20-23 were obtained from the 5-amino- carboxamide 6c as starting material. - Keywords: thienopyrimidines; thienopyrimidotriazoles; thienodipyrimidines and pyrazolylthienodipyrimidines
