The invention belongs to the technical field of pesticides, and particularly relates to a 4, 5-dihydro-5, 5-diphenylisoxazole-3-formamide compound and application thereof in preparation of a herbicide safener. The structural general formula of the 4, 5-dihydro-5, 5-diphenylisoxazole-3-formamide compound provided by the invention is shown in the specification, wherein R is selected from H, n-propyl, methoxyl, amino and (2, 4-dimethoxyphenyl) methyleneamino. The compound provided by the invention has an excellent herbicide phytotoxicity relieving effect, especially when the compound is mixed with nicosulfuron, the nicosulfuron phytotoxicity of corn can be effectively relieved, and the relieving effect is even better than that of some commercial herbicide safeners sold in the market.
