Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 22030-05-3 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,2,0,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 22030-05:
(7*2)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*0)+(1*5)=43
43 % 10 = 3
So 22030-05-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Flavonoids of Scutellaria ocellata and S. nepetoides

Yuldashev,Karimov

, p. 431 - 433 (2001)

The known flavonoids oroxylin A, wogonin, apigenin, 3,7,4′-trihydroxyflavone, cinaroside, baicalin, and wogonoside were isolated from the aerial part of Scutellaria ocellata Juz.; apigenin-7-O-β-D-glucuronide, norwogonoside, scutellarin, and the new flavoneglycoside nepetoside A, 5,8-dihydroxy-7-O-β-D-galacturonidopyranosylflavone, from the roots of Scutellaria nepetoides M. Pop. The structure of the last is established using chemical transformations and spectral data.

A new iridoid glycoside from Vitex negundo Linn (Verbenacea)

Sharma, Rattan L.,Prabhakar, Anil,Dhar, Kanaya L.,Sachar, Anand

, p. 1201 - 1209 (2009)

Five compounds have been isolated from the leaves of Vitex negundo Linn (Verbenacea) and their structures established by spectral analysis. Compound 1 has been identified and characterised as a new iridoid with a novel structure which has never before been reported in literature from Vitex or any other source. Its structure has been established as 1,4a,5,7a-tetrahydro-1 - β-D-glucosyl-7-(3′,4′-dihydroxybenzoyloxymethyl) -5-ketocyclopenta[c]pyran-4-carboxylic acid. Other compounds, 2, 3, 4 and 5, have been identified as luteolin-7-O -β- D glucoside, nishindaside, negundoside, and agnuside, respectively. Compound 2, a flavone-O-glycoside, is being reported from this plant for the first time, and compounds 3, 4 and 5 are structurally known iridoids.

Studies on the Constituents of Palmae Plants. I. The Constituents of Trachycarpus fortunei (HOOK.) H. WENDL. (1)

Hirai, Yasuaki,Sanada, Shuichi,Ida, Yoshiteru,Shoji, Junzo

, p. 295 - 301 (2007/10/02)

The constituents of the leaves, stems and underground parts of Trachycarpus fortunei (HOOK.) H.Wendl. (Palmae) have been investigated.Glucoluteolin (3), luteolin 7-O-rutinoside (=scolymoside, 4) and methyl proto-Pb (6) from the leaves, dioscin (1), Pb (2), methyl protodioscin (5) and methyl proto-Pb (6) from the stems, and dioscin (1) and methyl proto-Pb (6) from the underground parts were isolated and identified. This is the first report of the isolation of steroidal saponins from Palmae plants and these results are interesting from the standpoint of chemotaxonomy. keywords - Trachycarpus fortunei; Palmae; steroidal saponin; furostanol oligoside; diosgenin; proto-diosgenin; flavone glycoside; luteolin; glucoluteolin; scolymoside
