Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 23154-08-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,3,1,5 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 23154-08:
(7*2)+(6*3)+(5*1)+(4*5)+(3*4)+(2*0)+(1*8)=77
77 % 10 = 7
So 23154-08-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The reaction of dichloroketene with cyclopropyl-substituted methylenecyclopropanes leads to good yields of substituted cyclobutanones containing a spiro fragment at position 2.The reaction of the 5,5-dichlorospirohexan-4-ones synthesized in this way with potassium hydroxide leads to 6-hydroxy-5-oxaspiroheptan-4-ones, while the reaction with sodium methoxide makes it possible to synthesize substituted esters of cyclopropanecarboxylic acids.
