Nine flavonoids: a dihydrochalcone, a flavone, four 3-methylflavonols, a flavanone, a 3-methylflavanonol and a flavan were isolated from the roots of Derris araripensis.Eight of these compounds are reported for the first time.Structures were established by spectral analysis and chemical degradation.
