Joint oxidative condensations of N-alkyl-3-hydroxyantranilamide with N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-4-methyl-3-hydroxyanthranilamide hydrochloride gave 6-demethylactinocin diamides containing C4H9, cyclo-C6H11, C12H25, or C18H37 group in the α-amide group and 3-(dimethylammonio)propyl radical in the β-amide group.
