Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 24922-37-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,4,9,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 24922-37:
(7*2)+(6*4)+(5*9)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*3)+(1*7)=110
110 % 10 = 0
So 24922-37-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A coumarin-based turn-on fluorescent sensor for the determination of Al3+: Single crystal X-ray structure and cell staining properties

Guha, Subarna,Lohar, Sisir,Sahana, Animesh,Banerjee, Arnab,Safin, Damir A.,Babashkina, Maria G.,Mitoraj, Mariusz P.,Bolte, Michael,Garcia, Yann,Mukhopadhyay, Subhra Kanti,Das, Debasis

, p. 10198 - 10207 (2013)

An efficient Al3+ receptor, 6-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)-2H- chromen-2-one (HBC), has been synthesized by condensing salicylaldehyde with 6-aminocoumarin. The molecular structure of HBC has been determined by a single crystal X-ray analysis. It was established that in the presence of Al 3+, HBC shows 25 fold enhancement of fluorescence intensity which might be attributed to the chelation-enhanced fluorescence (CHEF) process. HBC binds Al(NO3)3 in a 1:1 stoichiometry with a binding constant (K) of 7.9 × 104 M-1. Fe3+ and Mn2+ quench the emission intensity of the [HBC + Al3+] system to an insignificant extent at a concentration 10 times higher compared to that of Al3+. HBC is highly efficient in the detection of intracellular Al3+ under a fluorescence microscope.

Coumarin-modified fluorescent cyclic iridium (III) complex as well as preparation method and application thereof

-

Paragraph 0022, (2020/09/20)

The invention discloses a coumarin-modified fluorescent type cyclic iridium (III) complex as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The structural formula of the coumarin derivative isshown as a formula (I), wherein the R1 is hydrogen and formyl, and R2 is 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin, 7-amino-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin and 6-aminocoumarin. The growth inhibition ratio experiment of thetarget complex on human alveolar basal epithelial tumor cells (A549) is tested. The results shows that compared with salicylaldehyde-coumarin Schiff base ligands, basic metal iridium dimers and cis-platinum drugs, the target complex shows good anti-tumor activity. The introduction of coumarin groups and the special structure of the complex provides the compound with good fluorescence characteristics.

A novel coumarinyl scaffold as metal ion sensor towards spectrophotometric detection of Cu2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+ ion

Bhattacharyya, Pranabes,Medda, Arunima,Gorain, Dinesh C.,Pal, Bijon Kr.,Guchhait, Nikhil,Das, Asish R.

, p. 623 - 629 (2012/11/13)

A new series of coumarin based metal ion sensors have been prepared devising a green protocol involving ethyl-(L)-lactate as a polar solvent. These compounds either selectively bind with specific transitional metal ions or form complexes with specific photophysical character when subjected to absorption spectroscopy. The derived Schiff's bases quantitatively bind with metal ions to form 1:1 complexes making them a useful tool for qualitative estimation of metal ions in biological as well as organic systems.
