Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 251105-97-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,5,1,1,0 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 251105-97:
(8*2)+(7*5)+(6*1)+(5*1)+(4*0)+(3*5)+(2*9)+(1*7)=102
102 % 10 = 2
So 251105-97-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

First example of B-C bond cleavage in the BAr(F) (B[C6H3(CF3)2-3,5]4) anion mediated by a transition metal species, trans-[(Ph3P)2Pt(Me)(OEt2)]+

Konze, Wayde V.,Scott, Brian L.,Kubas, Gregory J.

, p. 1807 - 1808 (1999)

The first example of transition metal-mediated decomposition of the widely used BAr(F) anion (BAr(F) = B[C6H3(CF3)2-3,5]4) has been accomplished by mild heating of the cationic platinum complex trans-[(Ph3P)2Pt(Me)(OEt2)]+(BAr(F))- in low-coordinating solvents to form the diarylated product trans-(Ph3P)2Pt(Ar(F))2 in good yield, thus demonstrating that such non-interacting anions can react with electrophilic transition metal complexes.
