Uses
Used in Agricultural Industry:
SECBUMETON is used as a herbicide for controlling the growth of grasses and broadleaf weeds in agricultural settings. Its mode of action, which involves the inhibition of photosynthesis, allows for effective management of these unwanted plants, leading to higher yield productions and a more efficient use of resources.
Used in Environmental and Agricultural Commodity Analysis:
SECBUMETON may also be used as an analytical reference standard in the quantification of the analyte in environmental samples, agricultural commodities, and vegetable samples. This application leverages different chromatography techniques to ensure accurate measurements and analysis, contributing to the overall understanding of the chemical's presence and impact in various contexts.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 26259-45-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,6,2,5 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 26259-45:
(7*2)+(6*6)+(5*2)+(4*5)+(3*9)+(2*4)+(1*5)=120
120 % 10 = 0
So 26259-45-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Plant-protective and pest-control agent

, (2008/06/13)
A herbicidal composition capable of preventing weed growth of potatoes or soybean plants consists of a triazene or an aromatic nitro compound together with an inorganic salt, especially sodium bisulfate or potassium bisulfate which reduced the quantity of the organic herbicide below that usually required to obtain a corresponding herbicidal effect and hence prevents phytotoxic damage. The composition contains 0.1:1 to 15:1 parts by weight of the inorganic compound to the organic compound and is applied in an amount of 0.1 to 30 kg of the composition per hectare.
Pesticide-polymer systems prepared from vinyl monomers
-
, (2008/06/13)
Controlled release pesticide-polymer systems are prepared by the polymerization of vinyl monomers containing pendant pesticides. The vinyl monomers are prepared by reacting an acrylic acid derivative with a pesticide or a pesticide derivative having an active hydrogen. The pesticide-polymer systems prepared from the pesticide vinyl monomers release the active pesticide material by hydrolysis or chemical depolymerization under conditions of use.
