General Description

(S)-Methyl 2-amino-3-benzamidopropanoate hydrochloride, also known as selegiline hydrochloride, is a pharmaceutical compound used primarily in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It is a selective inhibitor of the enzyme monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B), which is involved in the breakdown of dopamine in the brain.
