PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of producing a 1,3-difluorodisiloxane compound useful for an electrolyte additive for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, an insulating film material for CVD, etc., using inexpensive materials, without passing complicated processes, in high yield.SOLUTION: This production method of 1,3-difluorodisiloxane compound expressed by general formula (2) by reacting hydrofluoric acid with a dialkoxysilane compound. In formula, Rand Reach independently represents a 1-8C alkyl group, 2-8C alkenyl group, 5-8C cycloalkyl group, 6-8C aryl group, 7-8C aralkyl group or 1-8C halogenated alkyl group.
