The invention discloses a synthesis method of 2,3,4,5-tetrabromobenzoate. The synthesis method comprises the following steps: carrying out a reaction on 2-amino-4-bromobenzoic acid and liquid bromopyridine in the presence of hydrobromic acid to generate 2-amino-3,4,5-tribromobenzoic acid, carrying out a reaction under acidic condition to produce 2-amino-3,4,5-tribromobenzoic acid, performing diazotization to obtain 2,3,4,5-tetrabromobenzoic acid, and performing esterification to obtain 2,3,4,5-tetrabromobenzoate. The invention provides a novel synthesis method of 2,3,4,5-tetrabromobenzoate, wherein the raw materials are easy to obtain, reaction conditions are mild, selectivity and yield are high, the process is simple, cost is low, and large-scale production can be achieved.
