Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 28022-30-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,8,0,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 28022-30:
(7*2)+(6*8)+(5*0)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*3)+(1*0)=82
82 % 10 = 2
So 28022-30-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Carbene-Catalyzed Reductive Coupling of Nitrobenzyl Bromide and Nitroalkene via the Single-Electron-Transfer (SET) Process and Formal 1,4-Addition

Wang, Yuhuang,Du, Yu,Huang, Xuan,Wu, Xingxing,Zhang, Yuexia,Yang, Song,Chi, Yonggui Robin

, p. 632 - 635 (2017)

A carbene-catalyzed reductive 1,4-addition of nitrobenzyl bromides to nitroalkenes is disclosed. The reaction proceeds via a carbene-enabled single-electron-transfer process that generates radicals as key intermediates. The present study expands the potentials of carbene catalysis and offers unusual transformations for common substrates in organic synthesis.

Disclosed is a novel class of compounds of formula (I) wherein V, A, Y, Z, R1, E, X and D are as defined in the specification. These compounds act to antagonize the action of the glucagon hormone on the glucagon receptor. Owing to their antagonizing effect of the glucagon receptor, the compounds are suitable for treating or preventing glucagon-mediated conditions and diseases such as hyperglycemia, Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
