, p. 3275 - 3282 (2007/10/03)
Marine compounds with pyridoacridine skeletons are known to exhibit interesting antitumor activities. Among these compounds, meridine has already been reported as having significant antitumor activities in vitro. We synthesized 24 analogues of meridine su
(o-Trifluoroacetamido)cinnamaldehyde Dimethylhydrazone, a Useful Azadiene in the Hetero Diels-Alder Approach to the Pyrido[2,3,4-kl]acridine System

, p. 689 - 691 (2007/10/03)
The hetero Diels-Alder reaction between (o-trifluoroacetamido)cinnamaldehyde dimethylhydrazone and several quinones followed by aromatization and hydrolytic cyclization afforded the corresponding pyrido[2,3,4-kl]acridine derivatives in 26-43 percent overall yields.
