28826-16-6 Usage
General Description
Poly-L-lysine hydrochloride is a synthetic compound that is commonly used in cell culture and tissue engineering applications. It is a cationic polymer, meaning that it carries a positive charge, and has a high affinity for negatively charged molecules such as DNA, RNA, and proteins. This makes it a useful tool for promoting cellular adhesion and attachment, as well as for enhancing the delivery of nucleic acids and other biomolecules into cells. Additionally, poly-L-lysine hydrochloride is often used as a coating for cell culture dishes and tissue culture plates to improve cell adhesion and growth. Its biocompatibility and versatility make it a valuable reagent in biomedical research and pharmaceutical development.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 28826-16-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,8,8,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 28826-16:
(7*2)+(6*8)+(5*8)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*1)+(1*6)=136
136 % 10 = 6
So 28826-16-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information, p. 6153 - 6156 (2018/10/05)
The synthesis and application of three chiral receptors based on the covalent linkage of 1,1′-binaphthylphosphoric acids is reported. The binding of the lysine enantiomers to the chiral receptors was investigated by DOSY-NMR and NMR titrations, revealing that the bisphosphoric acid 1d acts as a highly stereoselective receptor for binding of d-lysine.
